Why is his music not more well-known? Fascinating and sublime. His story--even more so. Writing out Mozart by hand--to teach himself to write music! Speaking of photographs, this one speaks to me even more clearly than does Trakl's. Those eyes. Those piercing, melancholy, deep-liquid eyes.

DeleteI am going to listen. And I was thinking just the same thing about the picture. The face - reminds me of what I was trying to say about Tim's two photos I've seen. It's ok to delete this if you want, T.
DeleteI don't know that much about this composer, but the music is telling a story, nearly like a narrative--a solemn one.
